I started KLP as an official photography business almost 10 years ago, in 2013. My clients booked me through simple emails, we agreed on a date, and they would snail mail a check to me for their deposit (which if I recall correctly, was $50 to reserve a date). I burned those edited images onto a CD and snail mailed it to my client. I eventually migrated over to Dropbox for delivering images and also started accepting Paypal, in addition to checks. Boy, have times changed ?
Thankfully, there are so many better options available nowadays to set your photography business up for success. From booking/payment collection, gallery delivery, email marketing, and so much more.
